Lauren Rabin is an active Greenwich resident and the current Selectwoman serving since December 2019. A former elected member of the Board of Education, a dedicated mother, wife, daughter, mother-in-law, grandmother and community advocate, Lauren has served on many diverse town boards and committees, giving back to the community, and loyally serving the town where she and her children were raised, and continues to call home.

In addition to Lauren’s community service positions, Lauren has a 30+ year career in Marketing, exclusively in the technology industry. In addition to her duties as Selectwoman,

Lauren’s dedication to the Town and its residents is evident through her extensive community service resume as an active volunteer and Treasurer for several organizations: 15+ years volunteering on PTA Boards, two terms as an elected member of Greenwich RTM District 9 (2011-15) and an appointed member of the Board of Human Services (2012-15). Lauren served on the Distinguished Teachers Award Committee (2011-19) and the Greenwich Alliance for Education (2012-15). Lauren also served as Treasurer of Greenwich Youth Football League (2011-16) and a Cub Master of the Pack One Cub Scouts (1999-2004).

Having experienced Greenwich Public Schools as a student, a mother, a PTA board member, and an elected member of the Board of Education, Lauren has unique insight into the ongoing needs and concerns of residents, parents, and children.

Lauren and her husband of 33 years, David, live in the Glenville section of Greenwich. They have two sons, Scott and Eric, a daughter-in-law, Yuriko and grandsons Noah and Leo.
